Terms of Use: CARE-AI
These terms define your rights and responsibilities when you use the Care About AI: Introducing Artificial Intelligence online training provided by CARE-AI, hosted on the Axonify platform. By using our training, you are agreeing to these Terms.
These terms are valid in addition to those within the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy provided by the University of Guelph, as well as the Terms of Use, website Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy provided by Axonify. Axonify is the platform that hosts the training course.
By accessing and using the CARE-AI platform, you signify that you have read, understand and agree to bound by these Terms of Use.
1. Applicable Law
These terms are governed by and will be construed in accordance with applicable Ontario and Canadian law.
2. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective upon the posting of the changes unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with any changes and your continued use of the CARE-AI training and related services after the changes take effect constitutes your agreement with the changes.
3. Registration
To register for the training, you must be 18 years of age or older.
4. Password
It is your responsibility to protect your own password.
5. Account Termination and Expiry
We reserve the right to terminate your account for any of the following reasons:
- You have breached the Terms of Use
- You request account termination
- Your account has been inactive for a period of 30 days or more
- You have reached the 30-day mark of the course (the course should be completed in under 30 days)
- At any time, at our sole discretion
6. Your Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how your information is used by CARE-AI. By using our training, you are also agreeing to the terms of our Privacy Policy.
